MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY:  We are in need of someone to serve on the Communion team on alternating first Sunday’s.  If you are interested please contact Michelle Perkins.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY:  There is a need for a teacher’s assistant to serve in the 3 year old class on 2nd Sundays.  If you are interested please contact Felicia Brown.

MEN’S RETREAT:  This year’s Men’s Retreat will be October 9th-11th at Sandy Cove Christian Conference Center located near the Chesapeake Bay in North East Maryland. Please stop by and sign up at the table in the lobby or contact Cary Smith.

HARVEST BANQUET & FOOD PANTRY CANCELLATION:  Due to scheduled finalization of the renovations to our pantry; the Food Pantry and Harvest Banquet programs will be closed August 1-18, 2008.  We’re looking forward to providing more effective ministry services when we resume full operations on August 19th. 

VOA HOMELESS SHELTER MEALS:  It’s not too late; we are scheduled to serve August 10th-16th at the Hilda M. Barg Homeless Shelter.  Below is a schedule of the night each ministry will prepare and serve a meal.  If you are not involved in a ministry and would like to volunteer please see one of the ministry leaders.  Please arrive by 6:30pm each night.  Come prepared to minister to the needs of the people.
