“Chosen”

Chosen, the Woodbridge Vineyard Christian Fellowship’s Middle School Youth Group is comprised of a diverse and dynamic group of young people who are on a continuing journey of faith that encompasses Worship, Evangelism, Discipleship, Fellowship, and Ministry. The leadership team of Chosen is a collaboration of seasoned believers from all walks of life who have a heart for today’s youth and a passion for ministering out of God’s heart towards them. As a group, we have come to recognize that all true believers are a holy priesthood; sacred to God, serviceable to others, endowed with heavenly gifts and graces. Having been called into fellowship with God through Christ, we are determined to show the praises of our Lord by our profession of His truth, and our conduct.

As a group Chosen meets regularly on Sunday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Exceptions to our meeting schedule are 1st Sundays, which is communion Sunday, as well as other special services and days. These special services and days will be placed in the church’s bulletin/program a week prior to their date.

We provide a full service for your Middle School student to include the following:

  • The “Welcome”-where we greet your student at the onset of the service to hear their concerns, questions or comments.
  • The “Readiness Activity”-which gives your student a reason to want to learn the lesson.
  • “Prayer, Praise and Worship”-which allows for the opportunity to minister to the needs of others, offer up to God thanksgiving, acknowledge who He is, and what He does by the way we live our lives. All this is done with the accompaniment of various genres of Christian music that are relevant to today’s youth, and provide an alternative to secular artist.
  • A “Bible Lesson”-in which the contents involves your student.
  • "Bible Lesson Application”-in order to give your student a chance to explore how the lesson can be applied in a practical way in their daily lives.
  • “Sharing The Lesson”-which gives your student a chance to develop ways that they can teach what they have learned to others.

The program is relevant, in that it addresses issues and concerns of matters of faith on your student’s level while offering them answers from God’s perspective. It’s comprehensive, in that it incorporates all the fundamental components of the Christian Worship Service. It’s engaging, in that it appeals to every learning style from the imaginative learner, the analytical learner, the commonsense learner, to the dynamic leaner. Finally, it’s biblically sound, in that it continually references that Bible while referring your student to the Bible for God’s answer to many of life’s questions.
