Senior Pastor

Dan Davis was born and raised in upstate New York. Upon completion of high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. While serving in the Air Force, Dan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science in 1986 and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) in 1993. He left the Air Force as a Major in June of 2001 after nearly 23 years of service. Dan came to the Lord at the age of 24. He and his wife, Judy, attended VCF Woodbridge in the early nineties. He received a call to the ministry at this church just before leaving for another military assignment in California in 1995. While in California, Dan began attending Fuller Seminary. He finished his studies at Regent University, Virginia Beach, VA, in 2001, earning an M.A. in Biblical Studies. Dan then served as Administrative Pastor in a Vineyard church in Los Angeles for two years. In 2004, the Lord opened the door for Dan to return to this church as the Associate Pastor. He took over as Senior Pastor in May of 2006. Dan and Judy were married in 1983. They have two sons, Dan Jr. and Adam, and a daughter, Kayley. Dan loves most sports (especially basketball), spending time with his family, and reading.

Associate Pastor

Gregory T. Perkins was born in Brooklyn, New York and spent his early years there until his mother and step-father moved their family to Saginaw, Michigan, where he attended both junior and senior high school.  Prior to graduating he signed up for the delayed entry program and subsequently enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.  In the autumn of 1984, just prior to leaving for boot-camp, he surrendered his life to Christ.  Greg acknowledged and accepted his call to ministry in January 1987.  Through the vehicle of the military God would later bless him to serve in various capacities under the covering of several denominations.  In the summer of 2006 he retired from the Marine Corps after 22 years of faithful and honorable service to his country.  Since becoming a member of the of the VCF Woodbridge, Greg has served as a member of the worship team; a nursery worker; a member of the men’s ministry leadership team; co-youth leader for Gideon’s Revival youth ministry; on the board of directors for StreetLight Community Outreach Ministries, and co-leader for Chosen, the VCF middle school youth ministry.   Greg was elevated to the office of the Associate Pastor here at the Vineyard in 2009.  He married the former Michelle L. Blakely on May 28, 1994.  They have three daughters, Katitia, Deniece & Tiaira, and a son, Todd.   


Benevolence Pastor

Rose Powers has been a member of this church since its inception in 1987. She was originally hired as a part-time secretary by the founding pastor, Jim Robb, who led her to the Lord. Rose then became the administrator when the church moved into its current facility in 1991. She became involved in the benevolence ministry as people began coming to the church in need of financial assistance. In response to these needs, Rose first set up a food pantry then later started the StreetLight Community Outreach Ministries which provides a weekly dinner and other services for those in need. She is actively involved with other community and ministry organizations such as the Cooperative Council of Ministries, the Prince William County Drop-In Center, and the Homeless Prevention Network Council. Rose and her husband, Ken, were married in 1987. They have three children.

Administrator

Becky Smith was born and raised in Syracuse, NY, in a Christian home. She met her husband, Clint, while in college then went on to attend a secretarial school. Clint and Becky moved to Virginia in the mid-70’s. Becky has worked in several positions including as an administrative assistant, in accounts payable and receivable and in a home-based typing business. Clint and Becky attended a church in Arlington, VA, for 19 years. They were drawn to the Vineyard by the worship music in 1995. In 1999, Becky began volunteering at the church as an administrative assistant, later becoming a part-time paid staff member. Her responsibilities have grown to include handling the church finances and facility management. Clint and Becky have four children. She continues to work part-time to make time for family and household responsibilities.

 

Office Assistant
Michelle L. Blakely-Perkins was born in Tuskegee, Alabama.  As a child her family moved to Saginaw, Michigan.  Shortly after graduating from high school Michelle enlisted in the United States Navy.  In 1990 she left active duty and joined the USNR and faithfully served until the summer of 2000.  Michelle has a profound love and gift for ministering to young children and has over 12 years of Early Childhood Development training and education to her credit.  She has served the Vineyard as Office Assistant since 2005.  In addition, she continues to serve in King’s Kids, the elementary aged youth program, and has served alongside her husband Greg as the co-youth leader for Gideon’s Revival youth ministry, and co-leader for Chosen, the Vineyard’s middle school youth ministry.  Michelle and Greg were married on May 28, 1994.  They have three daughters, Katitia, Deniece, and Tiaira, and one son, Todd.
